My typical breakfast before Paleo...
- Bagel with cream cheese and a glass of orange juice or...
- Bowl of cereal with skim milk or...
- Nature Valley multigrain bar if I was in a hurry!
I thought of all of the above items as being "healthy choices", but all of those items are illegal in the Paleo diet, so my breakfast has definitely gone through an overhaul. Pictured below is my typical breakfast now. I've never been one to cook my breakfast, so the biggest adjustment is simply making sure I leave enough time in the morning to prepare my food and actually sit down and eat it (instead of eating on my car-ride to work). I have to say, I actually enjoy sitting down at my dining room table and eating in the quiet...it's a nice way to start the day!

The worst thing that's happened so far is that I burnt my bacon yesterday :( Nothing is worse than burnt bacon, in my opinion! Today's bacon, pictured to the right, turned out much better!! Woohoo!
